The Department of Human Resource Management of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a poster presentation session on April 16, 2026, as part of a course assessment. Student groups presented analyses of selected non-fiction books through posters and oral presentations to apply reading and communication skills. 

The session was conducted by Nur-E-Alam Siddiki, Lecturer in the Department of Human Resource Management at IUB. More than 200 students participated in groups, each selecting and reviewing a non-fiction book over the semester and presenting their findings through visual posters and presentations. 

Nearly 30 books were covered across themes including leadership, behavioral economics, personal development, and organizational culture. The format required group-based analysis and presentation of key concepts to peers and faculty members. 

Prof. Dr. Daniel W. Lund, Pro Vice Chancellor of IUB, attended the session. Dr. Ikramul Hasan, Head of the Department of Human Resource Management, was also present along with faculty members. 

The session included presentations, Q&A, and peer engagement as part of the assessment process. The department organized the activity to integrate reading with analytical and presentation-based evaluation.
