Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), and Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Awal Khan, Additional Director (ETL) of IQAC, have been appointed as Academic Auditors by the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC). 

Their recognitions, which were made official on September 30, 2025, reflects their long-standing expertise in higher education quality assurance, accreditation processes, and academic leadership.

As Academic Auditors, they will evaluate programs and institutions for BAC accreditation through comprehensive desk reviews, on-site visits, stakeholder interviews, and the preparation of audit reports with evidence-based recommendations for BAC accreditation.

Their appointment not only enhances the national visibility of IUB but also strengthens its institutional capacity by allowing the auditors to bring back best practices and insights from across higher education institutions in Bangladesh.
