The Independent HR Society (IHRS), an active student club of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), organized a session titled “From Campus to Career: Roadmap to the Dream Job” on October 11, 2025. The event provided guidance to students on preparing for professional careers and understanding the transition from academic learning to industry requirements through practical discussions with professionals.

The session featured Akramul Haque, Manager of Factory Sales at Avery Dennison Bangladesh Ltd., and Rafiqul Islam, Senior Sales Manager at Coats Digital. Both speakers discussed key employability skills such as communication, networking, personal branding, and digital competency relevant to current job markets.

Akramul Haque emphasized career development as a continuous process, while Rafiqul Islam highlighted the importance of networking and detailed techniques for effective CV writing and interview preparation. Students participated actively in the discussion sessions.

IHRS will continue to organize such initiatives to strengthen students’ career preparedness and alignment with professional standards.
