On 23rd May 2024, the Department of Finance, SBE organized student orientation to welcome the new batch of students for Summer 2024 semester. The event aimed to introduce the incoming batch to the department's curriculum, activities, and student clubs.

To inspire the new students, the event featured presentations by Nahian Islam Asif, Sapnil Sarker Pollob, Zubair Ahmed Khan, and Nabeel Rahman, who recently secured the first runner-up position at the "Creaventure 3.0 National Idea Pitching" competition, hosted by the Dhaka University Entrepreneurship Development Club (DUEDC) on 18th May. They shared their experiences and the journey of participating in various competitions, highlighting the skills and growth they gained.

Members of the Beta Elites club also spoke, sharing insights into their involvement with the program and its benefits. The session concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Nevin, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Finance, followed by a Q&A session.
