The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of IUB organized a day-long Orientation Program for new staff members on March 7, 2024, at Lecture Gallery 3002. The program, inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Tanweer Hasan, PhD, focused on providing insights into the university's service rules, accounts, IT support, facilities, and technical and structural aspects. Prof. Md. Abdul Awal Khan, Director (In-Charge) of IQAC, welcomed the participants and chaired the session, while Dr. S M Sohel Rana, Additional Director (QA), IQAC, facilitated the workshop.

A total of 37 members from different administrative departments and schools actively participated in the program. The resource persons for the workshop were IUB personnel representing various administrative entities. Kazi Md Husamuddin, Director of Finance & Accounts; A S M Shah Alam, Director of Operation & Maintenance; Brigadier General Ridwan-Al-Mahmood (Retd.), Director, Administration; Azizur Rahman, Director of HR; Lima Choudhury, Deputy Director and Head of the Admission & Financial Aid Office; and Syed Mahfuz Ahmed, Deputy Director & Head of CITS; shared valuable insights.
