King Sejong Institute Dhaka 2 (KSI) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) held a farewell ceremony to honour Ms. Youngmi Im, their Korean language teacher, who successfully completed her tenure on June 10, 2024.

Ms. Im joined KSI, IUB in March 2023 and brought with her academic credentials from Baekseok University and Hanyang Cyber University, South Korea. She was primarily engaged in teaching the Korean language at KSI.

The event was attended by the Director of KSI, Professor Zakir Hossain Raju, PhD, who praised Ms. Im's significant contributions. Students from various batches gathered to celebrate and share memories of their time with Ms. Im.

The ceremony featured a cake-cutting, followed by speeches from the director, students, and Ms. Im. Attendees performed Korean songs, reflecting the cultural connections Ms. Im promoted between Korea and Bangladesh.
